Hi there!

My name is Gabe - I am a proud Filipino performer based in the New Jersey/NYC area. Welcome to my humble abode! (this website, of course)

Aside from being a passion, I view performing as an opportunity to represent the vibrant communities I am a part of: Asian American, plus-sized, and LGBTQIA+. You can say I’m a triple threat.

I feel my best when I am on stage. From belting out an emotional ballad to really hitting that kick-ball-change, performing fulfills the universal need in all of us to be seen. As someone who oftentimes felt overlooked in the past, I want to be able to show those similar to me that they deserve to not only be seen for who they are, but celebrated for their individuality.

FILIPINOS ON BROADWAY

Later this year, I am producing “Filipinos On Broadway: It’s Christmas Time” at 54 Below to celebrate the holiday season! In addition to an upcoming show in October at another NYC venue, this has definitely been an exciting time for the concert series. I am so honored and humbled to continue collaborating with a community of amazing artists. Stay turned for show updates and cast announcements!

RECENT

AUGUST-OCTOBER 2026

Got to visit Newfoundland this summer in Axelrod Performing Arts Center’s production of Come From Away as one of the male swings! Having no prior swing experience, I was thrilled to tackle this behemoth of a show (alluding to the daunting chair-o-graphy). I also loved the challenge of making each character I swung for my own, which ultimately paid off when I got to go on for Kevin J. at the end of the run! So grateful to have worked with an exceptional cast in telling the incredibly moving stories of these Newfoundlanders.

MAY 2026

This past spring, I had the pleasure of returning to Timber Lake Playhouse in their all-alumni production of Godspell! I did not know much about the musical beforehand, and after being in it, I’m mad at myself for not getting into it sooner! The music SLAPS, but I shouldn’t be surprised: it is a Stephen Schwartz creation after all. It was so awesome returning to the theatre I started my professional career at - many fond memories there (and now new ones!)
